On behalf of the Edmonton Drillers Soccer club I would like to thank Michael Thompson for his contributions over the last 5 years. He began with us taking on a U10 age group and continued to work with them until U14. The players showed steady development and the team was able to compete even though undergoing seasonal change. Michael brought a wealth of playing experience and coaching knowledge, not only from the soccer perspective but also from hockey and being an educator. He continually showed that he was committed to the club and his team despite challenges that arose. It is unfortunate for the Drillers that Michael has decided to move on but we thank him and support him in his decision. Hopefully one day he will rejoin our ranks to coach again. Good luck Michael.
Sincerely, Ernie Cavaliere Technical Director

"I cannot express enough how good this program has been for our kids. Confidence with their bodies, motor skills, and even communication skills and never mind learning how to be part of a team.
A used to hate going to soccer, she joined this club and has flourished. She loves going every week, she’s learned how to take a bump, she's gained physical confidence, and she runs her heart out. If you are considering putting your girl in soccer, please, please, please consider this program."
