U16 Boys Tier 2 win gold in Kelowna!
After 3 incredible games in +30 weather, the team won the gold medal game on a shoot out. Keeper Joel stopped 3 shots and the 3 Drillers shooters that stepped up to shoot scored! A well deserved win for a team that has put in an incredible effort this season. Click here to see team photo.
U12 Boys Tier 1 captured the gold medal in St. Albert after beating Inter 2-0 in the final game. Congratulations on an amazing tournament win!

Drillers Men's Premier Team Wins GOLD!!
Congratulations to our men's premier division team on their decisive gold medal win at provincials. They played KC Trojans in the final and beat them 4-0. The coaching staff consisting of Ralf Schmidt, Rob Risling and Sandor Hoffman have done a fantastic job with this team. Thank-you to the following people who laid the on-field foundation, Ken Meier, Paul Croxford , Sue Monroe, Nick Culo, Jo- VanBerkel, Tom Davie and of coarse Sandor Hoffman, Rob Risling & Ralf Schmidt.

One of the players is U12 B coach Mark Spiller—congratulations Mark to you and the rest of your teammates!
They will play in Alberta's major league this coming outdoor as well as the next indoor season. We will be posting their outdoor schedule on our website so that our younger Drillers can get out to watch their games and cheer them on!

We would like to make you aware of an exciting opportunity for children with the skill and desire to play at an advanced, club soccer level here in west Edmonton.
The Edmonton Drillers Youth Soccer Club has been operating a successful club soccer program out of west Edmonton, as a member of the Edmonton Interdistrict Youth Soccer Association (EIYSA), for the past number of years. EIYSA's focus is on the further development of youth soccer and competition at Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels, in age groups from U12 through U18. EIYSA teams have perennially advanced teams to provincial and national championships in the competitive youth soccer circuit.
The focus of the Drillers, along with other EIYSA clubs, rests primarily on developing the physical and mental skills of youth players to successfully perform in the competitive soccer ranks. The Drillers have a player development program in place designed to build and round out player skills, making their soccer experience more enjoyable and fulfilling.
The Drillers organization is taking positive steps to ensure that as many West Edmonton soccer youth as possible are aware of, and have the opportunity to step forward and play at the competitive soccer level. Your cooperation would be greatly appreciated in circulating this note, to teams and interested players/parents in your community.
