Karl Weidle Field House - Entry Admission
For the 7v7 program, admission to the Karl Weidle Field House is $1.00 per entry or you can buy a season pass of $20.00. They will be available to purchase at the door. Team Officials and players don't pay.

Refund Policy

Refunds: The Drillers current policy for fee refunds is NO refund once the player has accepted a position on the team.  The only exception to this rule is if there is a medical reason, which has developed since the player accepted a position on the team, which prohibits that player from continuing to play.  A letter from a medical doctor must be provided to the club in order to obtain the refund.  While we can appreciate that personal circumstances may change we have set this policy because it is impossible to properly plan and operate as a club without such a policy in place.  Withdrawal from a team after accepting a position puts the club and team in the unfortunate situation of not being able to fill the position with another player.

“Respect in Sport”

Effective with the 2009 Outdoor Program, EIYSA will be implementing a new requirement for coaches in our program. The new requirement will be “Respect in Sport”.  EIYSA believes in being proactive in ensuring our sport is safe and welcoming for all participants. Respect in Sport will help us promote those values through a simple and convenient on-line training course. It is designed as a tool to assist coaches in identifying and dealing with abuse, neglect, harassment, and bullying in sport.

The program takes about 2.5 hours to complete. It is our intention to make this program available, as of April 2009. The program will be mandatory for all coaches. The cost of the program will be born by EIYSA. It is our intention to role out this program progressively to all team officials, as well as offer parent workshops. Initially, for 2009, only coaches will be involved. Subsequently, as indicated, we will encompass other team officials.

This information is just to pre alert you of what will be a new offering. There will be much more on the topic, as we get closer to implementation date. For more information on “Respect in Sport”, go to: www.respectinsport.com

Gym Cancellations
The City of Edmonton requires 16 days notice if you are NOT using your allocated gym time. Failure to provide 16 days notice will result in a $50 fine to the team. Gym doors will only be opened 10 minutes before your scheduled time and then locked again 10 minutes following departure. Each team will be issued a license agreement from the City and must have this with you at all times while using gym space. DO NOT try to contact the city for gym allocations as they will only accept requests from the club representative. You can contact Jo-Anne Johnstone at jmjohnstone@shaw.ca if you require assistance.
